I was involved in the #cannesheels #flatgate debacle at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Some women were turned away from the red carpet for wearing flat shoes (as high-heels were the policy) and to defy the rules I wore these rhinestone flats on the red carpet.

I was even interviewed on the Today Show for America and my picture on the red carpet was featured in Italian Grazia and French Marie Claire and the BBC interviewed me for BBC London as well as an online article.
